1892 Theodor Geyer founded the company and began trading Chemicals
From 1950 Company was reorganized and focussed its activities on sales and distribution of Laboratory Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Ingredients
1972 Start of cooperation with Haarmann & Reimer (since 2003 symrise) for sale and distribution of Flavors and Fragrances
1992 Movement of commercial domicile from Stuttgart to Renningen
1998 Acquisition of Hilmer Brauer GmbH & Co., Hamburg and Berlin, a trading company for Laboratory Chemicals
1999 Acquisition of laboratory chemicals division of W.E.H. Biesterfeld, Hamburg
Movement of Business Unit Ingredients to Friedrichsthal near Saarbrücken
2001 Acquisition of companies „Werkstätte für Chemie und Photo GmbH“ Berlin and Leipzig, “Umwelt-Labor-Ausstattung” Berlin
